Join us in The Drinking Trough for a Fire Pit Feast.

Chef will be cooking over an open fire on The Sunken Terrace. There will be flame cooked meat from the home farm, delicious charred vegetables and sides galore. The Drinking Trough bar will be open with fizz, homemade cocktails and local ales a plenty.

Settle in and enjoy our fiery feast.

The Finer Details:

Tables are available to book between 1 and 7pm.

Children and their well behaved grownups are all welcome. Tickets for babes (aged 3 and under) are free. Tickets for children (aged 10 and under) are £12.50. Adult tickets are £25. Ticket prices include barbecued meat from the home farm, delicious charred vegetables and plenty of yummy sides.

Join us for a champagne afternoon tea.

Gather your herd and kick start the weekend with an exquisite tea party. Corks will pop and plates will overflow with freshly baked cakes, delicious homemade sandwiches and other delightful nibbles.

 

The Finer Details:

Tables are available from 12pm onwards.

Children and their well behaved grownups are all welcome. Tickets for babes (aged 3 and under) are free. Tickets for children (aged 10 and under) are £12.50. Adult tickets are £25.

A delicious selection of sweet and savoury dishes will be served.

If the sun is shining, guests will be seated outside on the Sunken Terrace and the Art Gallery balcony. Our fingers and toes are crossed for a glorious weekend. If however, the weather has other ideas, we will bring the party indoors and you can stay warm and dry while enjoying countryside views through our big windows.

PJ Powers, “An African Story”

Join us in the Grand Hall for an evening with the world-famous singer and performer PJ Powers.

PJ will perform “Here I am” – a bold, humorous and touching musical journey of her life as a young, privileged white girl growing up in the Apartheid Regime of South Africa. You will laugh and cry as PJ takes you into the townships of South Africa, where, at the tender age of 19, she was, against all odds, embraced by the black South Africa and ostracised by the whites. Listen to stories of a real friendship that developed between herself and statesman Nelson Mandela, which saw her banned by the regime. PJ will recount hair raising moments as a young white activist working alongside the African National Congress while being branded a Traitor by white South Africa.

Don’t miss this magical and insightful evening of music, laughter and dancing.

All tickets include a glass of welcome fizz in The Drinking Trough.

Check in from 3pm and enjoy a relaxed afternoon in the shire. We recommend a long soak in our ginormous stone roll top baths.

Join us in Green Cow Kitchens at 5pm for a delicious early-bird supper. Chefs will prepare an exquisite four-course menu, celebrating the season and the bounty of our land.

The performance will start at 7.30pm.

A hearty Herefordshire breakfast will be served in Green Cow Kitchens between 9 and 10am the following morning before check out at 11am.

Christmas Feast

Join us in the Grand Hall for a fabulous Christmas feast with live jazz music. Don the black tie and the dancing shoes and kick start this festive season in style.

Beautiful, long tables, dressed with candles and Christmas foliage, will run throughout the space.  A delicious, five course, seasonal feast, celebrating the bounty of our land will be served with a carefully paired selection of drinks. Live jazz music will fill the air.

The party starts at 7pm.

The Drinking Trough will be open from 6pm and serving fizz, local ales and delicious cocktails a plenty. Pop the corks and start the party early!

Carriages depart at 11.30pm.

The feast package includes a carefully paired wine flight. For the unfortunate drivers among us, there will be an equally special non-alcoholic flight.
