Food is at the centre of every Crumplebury experience
Exceptional dishes are curated with a deep care for culinary excellence and a passion for seasonality. Menus are a celebration of the bounty of the home farm and the estate – careful combinations and elegant plates created to surprise and delight the most discerning foodie. Our hero suppliers, from artisan butchers to cheesemakers and master bakers, are hand-picked.
Here, fine dining comes as standard.
Seasonal menus for spring and summer, and autumn and winter, all reflect what’s at its very best at that moment from the land and sea. Ask us to pair our favourite dishes for you or select your own from delicious combinations. From sharing boards to delicate canapés, inspired main courses to elegant desserts, food is at the heart of all we do.
For 200 years or more here, the Crumplebury home farm, the woodlands and the hedgerows, have been generous with their bounty – the land and its animals lovingly nurtured generation after generation.
Drive down the winding track to our front door, and you’ll pass inquisitive herds of beef Shorthorn, Saler and Hereford cattle grazing our lush Herefordshire pastures.
Gloucester Old Spot and Tamworth pigs root happily in the orchards, and our Lleyn and Hampshire lambs graze the hills and valleys.
A season for everything
Seasonality and sustainability have always been the beating heart of Crumplebury.
Food here is local and seasonal. Rooted in the land and the locality, food miles are low – meat, game, vegetables and fruit produced right here in the rolling Herefordshire countryside.
