How do we arrange to visit?
To arrange a visit, you can visit our book a visit page on our website and select a suitable date and time using our visit calendar. Alternatively, if you want to speak to our team directly, call 01866 866 586.
How much is it to secure a date?
Your initial payment is £750 of your venue hire fee.
How do we book?
Once you have been to visit you will receive via email, log on details to our booking portal which can be found here. Remember to book your registrar or Church, details of which are found in these questions.
What are your prices?

What is your closing time?
Music in the Great Barn will turn off at 11pm, but you and your guests are invited to move into the Drinking Trough where you and your guests can relax and reminisce on what a wonderful day you’ve all had. Background music will wind down at 11:30pm when the bar closes. The venue closes at midnight, and we ask that all guests who aren’t staying the night have pre-booked taxis to collect them by midnight.

What is your capacity for ceremonies, dining, evening receptions and accommodation?
Ceremony – Our maximum daytime capacities vary depending on where you’d like to get married. For ceremonies taking place in the Gallery, the maximum capacity is 120. For ceremonies held in the Great Barn, the maximum capacity is 200.
Dining – We can host up to 180 for the Wedding Breakfast in the Great Barn.
Dancing – Our maximum evening capacity is 200.
Accommodation – Crumplebury has 10 bedrooms in The Farms and Coppices (sleeping 20 guests) plus The Oakley, our fabulous honeymoon suite, for the newly married couple. We also have the Longfield Cottage that has an additional two bedrooms (sleeping up to four guests).
Do you have somewhere to get ready on the morning of the wedding?
You are invited to use The Oakley on the morning of your wedding for you and your wedding party to get ready in from 11am.
Can our dog come to our wedding?
We love (well-behaved) dogs and appreciate that they are a huge part of your family. They are welcome to join you for the ceremony and photographs, but they must be taken off-site after this and before the wedding breakfast. If you wish to bring your dog(s) along, please ask to see our dog policy.

Is the venue accessible?
Crumplebury is accessible for wheelchair users and has an accessible toilet. Three bedrooms (including The Oakley) are accessible.
Can we use our caterers?
A fantastic team of in-house chefs provide all of our catering. It is not possible to use your own caterers.
Do we need wedding insurance?
We strongly recommend that you take out wedding insurance. Weddings are a big investment, and fingers crossed that you’ll never need to call on your insurance, but having it in place will cover you for a range of eventualities.

Can you host private events other than weddings?
From corporate off-sites to car launches, board meetings to whole company gatherings, product photography to fashion shoots. Whatever your working need, we have spectacular indoor and outdoor space and delight in curating memorable experiences. How much does hiring Crumplebury for a private event cost?
We can host executive meetings and intimate client dinners for 20 right through to product launches and awards ceremonies for 200 or more. Please contact us to discuss pricing for your event.
What is your capacity?
This will vary depending on your event type, but our maximum capacity is 200 guests.
Can we use our own caterers?
We do not allow outside caterers at Crumplebury. However, we are more than happy to work with you to create a bespoke menu that perfectly fits your vision.
Is the venue accessible?
Crumplebury is accessible for wheelchair users and has an accessible toilet.
Can we use our own suppliers?
Yes, we are happy for you to use your own suppliers for everything apart from catering and drinks.
Who provides the catering?
All catering is provided by Crumplebury’s onsite team of chefs.
Are we able to create our own menu?
Our chefs love working with you to create your own menu if you would like something a little different from our packages.
Can we bring our own food & drink to the venue?
It is not possible to bring any food and drink into the venue other than a wedding cake, confectionery (which must be in the original sealed containers in which they were purchased), and edible favours with allergens clearly labelled. Please speak with our team if you need any further clarification.
Our guests have allergies; how do we inform the team?
Please speak to our Events Team about any allergies or dietary requirements you or your guests may have during your meetings in the lead-up to the event.
Do you offer vegan and vegetarian options?
Yes, we have a delicious range of vegan and vegetarian options.
Are we able to create bespoke cocktails?
You can work with our bar team to create bespoke cocktails for your event.
Can we pre-order food and drink for the morning of the wedding or event?
Yes! We have a range of delicious grazing boards available to enjoy while you get ready in The Oakley. We can also provide bottles of Champagne or prosecco for your wedding morning celebrations. Please speak to the Events Team for more information.

Is there parking, and can cars be left overnight?
We have 52 car parking spaces at Crumplebury. Cars can be left overnight but must be collected by 10am the next morning. We do not allow caravans or motorhomes to stay in our car park overnight.

Is there somewhere to purchase a drink ahead of the wedding or event when we arrive?
Our bar is usually open ahead of a wedding ceremony. Please note that the bar closes 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Please speak to the wedding couple about the exact timings of the day.
If you are attending another type of event, please speak to the event organiser to find out when the bar will open.
Can I purchase a gift for the couple for their wedding day?
Absolutely! If you want to purchase one of our products as a gift for the happy couple, we can arrange this for you. Please contact us at 01886 886 587.

How do we book the accommodation?
If you wish to book the accommodation, please raise this with the Events Team during your welcome/planning meetings.
Can we stay the night before a wedding or event?
This may be possible if we do not have an event booking the day before. We can confirm this closer to the wedding or event date.
We will release the night before the wedding date four months prior.
